Good article and well written. Did a bobkitty actually write that?
I do like how he failed to mention the most significant play of the year, the knee.

He did. The most significant moment was beating you guys. with the win vs. you guys:

1) we got to the playoffs
2) we won our first ever i-aa conference title (co-champs)
3) the community and university FINALLY came together.
4) the pride really began to show at this game. even UT students and grads were drivin down to catch our last game and playoff games over attending UT games
5) and, well, it was a rivalry game which made it even sweeter to win. xsmoochx

success is a journey, not a destination. :)

The knee??

It was the 3 yrd run around the right side to beat SHSU and to clinch conference.

That is a super article...and all the more reason why I love college football as opposed to the NFL. :hurray:

I like how everyone gave the article props, except for the Sam faithful. They know they are about to be dominated for years to come. It's ok, I'm sure someone will shed a tear for you, somewhere.

That is a very good article and very, very well written.

I guess I'm the exception. That was a great article! Coach Wacker was the class of the Lone Star Conference back then. I wish we had even a small piece of what SWT had in those days!
