A Div I assistant with a good deal of success seems to be mulling the Georgetown position. What's the word, DFW Hoya and company?

--------
Former UW co-offensive coordinator and running backs coach Brian White is considering an offer to be the head coach at Division I-AA Georgetown.

A very solid hire if true, but his only experience in the Patriot League would be:

The former Harvard quarterback earned his B.A. in 1986, an M.A. from Fordham in 1988 and an M.B.A. from Notre Dame in 1990.

Graduate Assistant Coach at Fordham from 1986-87

Intriguing.

From the Big Ten to Georgetown..there will certainly be some culture shock involved there that he should be ready for in terms of support, unless GU is really going to make a commitment.

The Fordham folks will be a bit miffed; they were high on him to start.
