Well..I guess NDSU won't be the only one playing a 10 game schedule this year...

You 2 couldn't get a date together? No school looks to play just 10 games (unless you're in the SWAC) Plus, this is the 10th time in 17 years for RMU? Start scheduling 2011 now!

RMU explored the possibility of playing North Dakota State, the Missouri Valley Football Conference program which also has only 10 games, but dates could not be changed to accommodate a meeting.

Supposedly we're still trying to work something out with Morgan State.

I'm guessing we offered them a guarantee game and they're holding out for more money.

Just offer them a **** home/home and make them pay their own way to Fargo, IMO. We'll go to Baltimore in a couple years.

Don't forget the SWAC! xthumbsdownx

What's the point of a nine-game mandate, if you can only figure out how to schedule one more game? The SWAC schools have more flexibility as far as bye weeks to work with since a few of them go into Thanksgiving weekend and the week between T-Giving and the SWAC championship game.

South Alabama may be willing to pay Robert Morris to come on down or maybe RMU can pay a club team to play them at home.

Robert Morris was supposed to play Bucknell again, but the Bison backed out late, leaving RMU hanging with a messed up schedule. RMU was able to adjust the schedule, then Bucknell supposedly came back and said, "So...about that game...can we play it now?"

RMU said forget about it and tried to find another way around it, but by that point, most of the schedule holes were filled and few partners matched up. NDSU tried, but that failed too.

And who wants to play a D-II or D-III team when you finally have a crack at the postseason?

That was the Dartmouth-Bucknell/Colgate-Syracuse switcheroo.
