4 straight road games to open the season xeekx

At least there's a bye mixed in there, but still...

Nice OOC. That SFA game could wind up being very interesting come playoff time

SFA is going to be the SLC favorite with SLU right behind them...

Albany understands that the NEC is going to have an AQ this coming year. It'd be great if the rest of the NEC followed suit with the tough slates!

Yeah 4 road games sucks, but that's the price you pay when you have no money and play at a facility that isn't even at high school level.

All of the AQ teams that were willing to travel to us have either (a) dropped football (Hofstra, Northeastern) or (b) lost the last time they came and won't come back (Fordham, Maine).

This will be the 2nd out of the last 3 years that we haven't had a home game in September. Not a way to build a fan base in the Northeast, that's for sure.

But it does give the some more meaning to "Homecoming" seeing as it will literally be the first home game of the year.

The NEC has only 4 sub-DI games on the entire schedule this year and 2 of them are last minute replacements for Hofstra and Northeastern.

The 3rd DII game is for a transitioning DII team and the 4th is for Wagner, for which there is no excuse.

Included in the OOC slate are the following AQ (or Great West) teams:

SFA
Maine (twice)
Fordham
New Hampshire
Youngstown State
Bucknell
Delaware
Colgate
Liberty (twice)
Cal Poly
Georgetown

I'd say that's a pretty good OOC schedule for teams that aren't really able to get FBS games.

I like the matchup with Yale, but only four home games stinks. Then again, it's better than no home games like my friggin alma mater!
