This was announced early in last season, which is a great thing - showing that SHSU is ahead of the game when it comes to scheduling...

The 2011 slate is almost set in stone as well, if not publicly.

This is the first SHSU schedule to have all Div I games.

Why play two FBS games?

WIU is a four-year home-and-home. The Kats are trying to play a full Div I schedule with just one FBS institution. The FBS institution will be a regional foe each time.

Considering WIU is our lone flight of the year, all is well. Plenty of cheap 'trips' now with Lamar in the league.

This is a great schedule with NO Bacone, Southern Ark., or any DII schools. The Prairie View fiasco is old news. I couldn't care less.
