I was half expecting a 'negative Nancy' column...

Instead, we got some name issue discussion. This problem is not just limited to the Dallas media, it is a national issue as it relates to the name issue.

Not all the conferences and schools are onboard for calling the name of the subdivision what it is. The NCAA may need to be more proactive in getting the schools, conferences to call things the way they should. The SLC is actually one of the better leagues in doing this and have been since day one of the change...

Some of the fans around the nation do an awful job as well and its relatively common to see those on a site like TSPN refer to the FBS as 'Div I' as if that is the only Div I games on the slate!
