Thank You to the Fordham fans for sponsoring this month. It's cool to see the "7 Blocks of Granite" at the top of the screen. It says something special about the history of Fordham and many FCS programs. By the way, the right guard, #40 is none other than......Vince Lombardi.

FCS colleges are steeped in history. The most famous names, Lombardi (Fordham University) and Heisman (Brown University) played at FCS colleges. FCS schools invented the forward pass, the huddle, the helmet, and a host of other innovations. And, of course, it was an FCS college (Princeton University) that played the very first intercollegiate football game.

Fordham is a football history lesson in itself - for decades it was probably the nation's most feared opponent.
