On yesterday the bulldogs of south carolina state were named the 2009 hbcu football national champions. In 2008 the bulldogs shared the title with grambling state. Coach pugh says the bulldogs are honored to receive the award, and its very special to received the award in back-to- back years. Congrats sc state, not let's add the fcs title to this next season!

It's a shame, especially after playing App State so well the last two years, that the rest of the country does not recognize how good S.C. State football is.
