One of the greatest football games played at any level. The situation, the weather, the setting, did I say the weather, the greatest FCS player of all time (AE), the Griz Fans, all of it. I can think of no better QB than AE to have the ball in his hands at the end of the game and it just wasn't meant to be. AE, you have been the absolute best over the last 4 seasons. And although I'm now a GWU fan, ASU is in my home state and I was pulling like hell for you guys. Congrats Griz and good luck to you next Friday against Nova. too be honest...I think the noise had some impact with false starts. But really it was an even game, surprisingly few turnovers, and give Montana a big nod for having a great home crowd.

ASU had a good season, but no NC is a disappointment with the team we had this year. We are still young and have a good shot next year as well. Not winning the NC this year is a disappointment though any way you look at it, and I am sure the players feel the same way. Too much talent not too.

AE put on a hell of a drive there at the end. He deserves to be playing sundays, I don't care what people say about his size. I feel bad for the entire App team for playing their hearts out and coming up short in the end, but that game could have easily gone either way. I wish they were on the other side of the bracket and we met them next week but we finally got to see the AE Mountaineers in action from the other side of the ball. What an honor to have played those guys.

I'm sure that a "Winter Storm Warning" usually means a blizzard. At least down here in the Badger state it does. xlolx

Really, I couldn't ask for a better game. Hats off to the members of the Mountaineers and Grizzlies football teams.

I will have to say though, to be fair, Mariani sure isn't the player he was hyped up to be.

ASU had a good season, but no NC is a disappointment with the team we had this year. We are still young and have a good shot next year as well. Not winning the NC this year is a disappointment though any way you look at it, and I am sure the players feel the same way. Too much talent not too.

He never got a chance to take a punt, you haven't seen anything yet. Just tune in next week. We'll see how he does.

Mariani got no punts today, and our quarterback was 11 for 27.... not exactly hot to say the least. It is reflected in marianis stats as well.
