I really hate to say this, but UNH's offence is just plain awful.Totally out of sync, receivers who can't hold onto the ball, and absolutely no ground game.I don't know what the answer is,but I don't even want to think what the result would be if they end up going to Boone,Missoula,or Cedar Falls.

Don't think so, Smith will be the man.

With Smith back, and Turcotte bruising the ball up the gut, Maine should get back to the playoffs next season.

It wasn't the prettiest game, but at least UNH has shown that they can step up late in games when they need. Also, having a kicker who can hit 50+ yard field goals could come in handy in the playoffs.

Wasn't very pleased with most of their performance but I was really excited that UNH figured out how to be creative in the fourth quarter on offense. The Mangieri call was one of the worst I've seen at the FCS level. That's just a referee trying to make a name for himself. Toman also just underthrew J.T. Wright on a flea-flicker that later resulted in the Manning FG.

The timeout call on that 4th down play before manning Kicked was a bad one by McDonell, IMO. UNH needs to find a running game or they're one and done, again. That said, happy to have the win and return to the playoffs. Nice job all.

Phenomenal. I was thinking about this game today about what it would be called; "The Outpost Bowl". If you think about the four corners of the country and the football rivalries they yield:

Pac NW: The Apple Cup
Cali: USC / UCLA
Florida: The Florida State Championship (The U, Fla State, UF)
Northeast: Battle for the Brice Cowell Musket (Maine / UNH)
