Yeah, thought there would be more discussion on this as well.

Look the Lions are mounting a comeback similar to the one they put up against the Cats in their SLC opener two weeks ago.

I'm telling you, SELA and Brain Babin are rally not that bad at all. The Lions have some talented receivers, a pretty reliable RB, and Babin has done a great job managing them all.

I still feel McNeese should take this, but the Lions will not go down easy, and as I mentioned on another thread if the Cats have any hopes of making it to the postseason, McNeese better take care of business.

Well, realistically the way the Cats are playing, playoffs look like far out of reach. However, if the Cats are to have any hope of making it, we need to win out from here on out, and SELA has to drop two. McNeese must give them their first SLC loss, cause nobody else besides the Bears or the Lumberjacks can take them down.

Southeastern looked a lot better physically against McNeese than SFA did. Difference is that they made a lot more mistakes than SFA did. They had a number of key injuries in this game and if those players are out for a while that might hurt them pretty bad.

McNeese holds special place for me. Uncle, William Casey, taught speech and debate there. My father and he "discussed" every holiday whether "Midwestern" or "Southern" football was better. Best of luck for the remainder of season.
