Small changes to the starting lineup:
-Zach Posey is listed as the starter at LG, returning from injury to replace Will Elmore
-Evan Colborne is once again listed as the starting Kicker, he did play against Princeton after being injured against Cornell
-Trevor Lawler, who made some punts in Princeton, is listed as the starting Punter, replacing Andy Heagle and Evan Goldszak

The Raiders and Hoyas have only ever met as members of the Patriot League, with Colgate winning all 6 battles. The two did not meet last year, as an outbreak of the norovirus on Georgetown's campus prevented the Hoyas from making the trip to Hamilton

Nate Eachus is currently 27th on the Colgate career rushing list. He is just 63 yards away from 20th

Halftime

TheValleyRaider
October 17th, 2009, 01:11 PM
Ugly game, neither side of the ball has been able to get much of a rhythm going. The blocked punt for a TD has been the big difference in the game so far, putting the Hoyas up early and generally setting us back on our heels. Weather might be playing a role as well, especially regarding the playcalling, but so far it doesn't look like there's been any unexplained fumbles or things like that. Still, Georgetown came ready to play, and we're going to have to do a better job matching their intensity in the 2nd half

TheValleyRaider
October 17th, 2009, 01:31 PM

Not really. Colgate is not worthy of a 7-0 record. I think we will see that down the road.

I was going to write something in response to this, but it is too mind-boggling. I always thought, however, that what made a team "worthy" of its record was the results.

Wow this game wasn't even close on paper. Seems like Colgate may have looked past G'town early and stepped it up in the 2nd half. 7-0 is 7-0, but the PL is definitely still up for grabs, hell even Lehigh has as good a shot as anybody to win the league at this point.

Big three game stretch ahead for the Raiders. The roadies to HC and Lafayette should be excellent games.
