Albany driving on them...after a UA fumble recovery.

I am still so underwhelmed by Esposito this season.

it is really weird '96...last year and even 2 years ago, he looked like he was going to be maybe the best QB of this decade. All honesty, I can't wait for him to go and see Andrew Smith take control of the offense.

Sacred Heart holds, UA takes the FG...3-0 Danes

I have never liked his throws; honestly, it makes me wonder why they never brought in a real good QB coach. He has a huge stride....gets way too low....and cocks his arm like a baseball player....without any quickness on the release.

Decent arm strength...

Albany D is dominating (not suprising); INT...First and Goal.

UA with the INT...+2 on turnovers...very nice

'96, it is weird that we can never have a solid QB over the past few years. I know Ford loves the option, but I think you still need a good passing QB at some point.

Albany's Offense...sucking. Not suprising.

This game should be 14-0

another FG...6-0

84...if you were around in the 90's you would have puked; 36 blast; 34 Dive; 18 QB Keep.

Run that right...then run it left.

Might has well just run the veer....because that offense was just as vanilla. Only since the move to FCS did we make the change.

Times are changing...and we need a QB who can throw and run. I am not even sure A Smith fits the bill. I hear he has a cannon...but is still learning how to read a D. Remember...he was a RB until his final year of high school.

Could you imagine if they recruited a good passer...with Smith in the backfield?

'96...the thing is, you have to also bring in solid WR/TE also. Frankly, what big name receivers have we had over the past few years? the closest was Daniel Bocanegra and Irani DeAraujo, but neither were game breakers.

Paul Booker is a VERY good tight end...and Kirchner, Bush and Poore are good WR...and two have good size (6'6 and 6'1).

That aint the problem....its coaching and recruiting in this one area. They need to open it up more...and need to change their own coaching styles.

I here ya...heck you played for the man and the system. It is clear that the philosophy is we beat them with strong defense, solid o-line and a amazing running game. However, and I think it is the main reason why we have trouble against the big boys of the FCS, is that you don't have the passer or wr's to compete. you can't run all the time and have avg passing if you want to compete against the big boys.

Correction: Danefan played for the man and ran the system.xthumbsupx

I just got recruited...and hurt in practice ending my career. xnodx

And yes, it is why we are having those problems against the best FCS teams. The good thing: Albany changed in its move to FCS...so they are capable of it again.

Literally should be 28-0 right now.

Game isnt even a game. I want to see Drew Smith get snaps at QB....with passing.

Sacred Heart with the FG. 16-6 Danes.

About 6 to go in the 3rd...and the Danes driving.
