CSN SWAC Attack: Scoring Some 'O'

It’s amazing what a little offensive production can do for a program’s confidence.
Take the case of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, which managed a mere 189 points last season. The Golden Lions’ defense, which played well for much of 2008, was left to ponder “what might have been” had its offensive compadres been along the lines of, say, Southern, or even Texas Southern.
Fast forward to the present, where second-year coach Monte Coleman’s squad is – cripes! – moving the ball and (most importantly), scoring points.
