CSN MEAC Review: The Good, The Bad, and The Encouraging

Well, folks, another exciting week of MEAC football is behind us. The MEAC played two CAA rivals and although the end score looks similar, both games were contested quite differently. Delaware State played an extremely hard-nosed game against the University of Delaware and DSU’s defense simply lost steam in the middle of the third quarter. William & Mary established control of its game with Norfolk State early and only let up once when there was no chance the Spartans could win.

Within the MEAC, FAMU extended its winning ways and Winston-Salem was beaten by another MEAC team in Morgan State. SC State and Bethune-Cookman had bye weeks. The overall record against nonconference teams took another hit with losses to William & Mary and the University of Delaware.
