Holy Cross QB Randolph among players of the week
Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Holy Cross quarterback Dominic Randolph,
William & Mary cornerback B.J. Webb and Marcus Harris of Murray State have
been named The Sports Network's FCS national players of the week.

OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Dominic Randolph, Holy Cross, 6-3, 223, Senior, Quarterback, Amelia, OH.
Randolph set or tied five Patriot League records on the way to leading Holy Cross to a fourth-quarter, 20-7 comeback win over Georgetown in a Patriot League game. Randolph completed 36-of-56 passes for 414 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 17 yards to finish with 431 yards of total offense. He became the first PL quarterback to throw for more than 10,000 career yards (10,093) and set records for career total offense (10,415) and 400-yard total-offense games (seven), while tying league marks for touchdowns responsible for (94) and 400-yard passing games (six). Randolph, a three-year Walter Payton Award candidate, now holds eight different PL career records and also earned
his 13th career PL player of the week honor.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

B.J. Webb, William & Mary, 5-11, 160, Freshman, Cornerback, Newport News, VA.
Webb helped spark William & Mary to a 26-14 victory at Virginia in his first college game. The redshirt freshman intercepted three passes to kill Virginia drives and clinched the win when he returned his third pick-off 50 yards to give the Tribe its final touchdown with under three minutes to play. Webb had 68 yards of returns on his three interceptions and also returned three punts. He keyed a defensive effort that forced seven Virginia turnovers. Webb recorded his first interception late in the first quarter, while his second pick helped set up a field goal in the second quarter. With three
interceptions, Webb nearly equaled the single-game school record of four established by Jack Bruce against Richmond in 1947.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Marcus Harris, Murray State, 6-1, 185, Junior, WR-Returner, St. Louis, MO.
Harris returned a kickoff and a punt for a touchdown to help Murray State to a 66-10 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan. With less than three minutes remaining in the third quarter, Harris took a kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown to put Murray State up 52-10. After catching a 13-yard touchdown pass on the Racers next possession, Harris grabbed a punt and raced 75 yards for a score to finish off the Racers' scoring. Harris finished the game with 225 all-purpose yards, including two catches for 17 yards.

The scary thing is that Randolph didn't even have one of his better games.
