Does TSN audit any of these completely off-the-wall polls? The OVR's are completely ridiculous, which means there are people with some pretty crazy ballots.

Formatting sucks so I'm not cutting and pasting.

Still early in the year. A big win and you can catapult into the top 25 from out of no where.

Too much emphsis on preseason rankings and name recognition. xcoffeex

Holy Cross is #25 for beating Georgetown.
Georgia Southern gets 212 votes for holding off Albany.
Colgate beats Monmouth and gets 123 votes.
URI gets 37 votes for beating Fordham.
VMI gets 6 votes for a 1-pt win at Robert Morris

yet, CCSU beats Lehigh and gets 2 votes. xconfusedx

I hope wins vs. Monmouth, Albany and RMU are worth that much during NEC play. This is why this year's "earned access" requirement of a #16 ranking is utter BS for NEC teams.

......and who were the six who voted for VMI, after that performance? Pee test, anyone?xreadx.

To the 5 people who voted for Chattanooga...
(or the one crazy person who voted the Mocs 20th)

Thanks for the compliment, but, easy tiger...Mocs haven't really done anything yet (but proven they can beat DII teams 2 out of every 3 years :))

It is always like this. 90 percent of the weird votes will be weeded out here in 3 weeks or so as the season plays out.

Not a lot of movement, but that's not unexpected. Only real change was W&M up from 14 to 7. Too many FBS and non D-I matchups to cause too much shuffling xtwocentsx

I don't get it really. I guess Appy dropping one is ok, but weren't they expected to win? I just don't get it. Confuses me. Seems like the poll is anticipating Armanti coming back. And also I like that Villanova and UNI are ahead of the Griz, they stepped up this week! Kudos

I would have thought that Maine goes down farther than 1 spot for their OT squeeker, but it all shakes out in the end.

+1. If UNI would have won that game, they likely would have been #1 and you would have heard no complaints from anyone. Iowa on the road (a ranked FBS school) would have been a MAJOR scalp.

Prime example why we shouldn't have any polls till Oct.

I'm ok with it too...but please name me ANY other team that eeked out a 38-0 win and dropped TWO spots...I say again...HILARIOUS!

You don't almost beat #22 Iowa, and not move up. Plus, I've thought Richmond, Villanova, and App are better than us at this point in time.

Holy Cross is #25 for beating Georgetown.

I had Holy Cross in my top 25 prior to the season!
