Fully confident: With a year under his belt, Bryan Waggener is ready to lead

The man they all call “Wags” has a swagger this season that has his teammates and coaches firmly believing he will lead the Bears past the difficult 1-10 season of a year ago and bring them to new heights this season.
“He just has a lot of confidence in himself and his ability,” UNC wide receiver Brandon Smith said. “He thinks he can make every throw and every read and that is what you want in a quarterback, to be confident. To know how to do it how to get it done.”
Even Waggener himself agrees he is more confident and comfortable with his teammates and the Bears offense than a year ago when he transferred from the University of Florida, where he sat fourth on the depth chart and played behind Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow.
