The Jackrabbits have a lot of starters returning for '09, but one position is up for grabs, at that is at the QB spot.

BROOKINGS - A team that has two quarterbacks doesn't really have any quarterbacks, or so the saying goes. What, then, does that mean for South Dakota State, a squad that has four players locked in a dead heat for the starting spot?


The way the Jackrabbits see it, the logjam means they have quality depth at that position, just like they do at several others.

Not having a clear cut QB is not a good thing. That's what kept us back last year.

I think not having the o-line to protect who coach wanted us to have as a QB is what held us back. :)



Good luck with that... hopefully it won't be the end of the year when you figure it out like we did. If they know what is good they should pick a kid and let them claim the offense as his own. Without that leadership from the QB your offense will struggle.
