The fellas over at championshipsubdivision.com have updated the site to include a Stadium Database and FCS Directory. Since I don't want LFN's thread to get highjacked I figured I would just quote Danefan's post and start it up here.

If that's the theory we're operating under than I urge everyone to check out www.championshipsubdivision.com (http://www.championshipsubdivision.com/).

A new schools directory has been added for each FCS school with vital fan information including fan sites, blogs, local media outlets and related RSS feeds.

Also a stadium database has been created that includes some interesting information (home win-loss records, attendance information, etc..) and includes pictures.

These great resources will only get better with user generated content...because who knows this information better than the real fans? No one. xthumbsupx

Two quick corrections:

1. Fordham's baseball diamond is Houlihan Park. The gridiron is still called Jack Coffey Field.
2. The Multi-Sport Facility was never built at Georgetown-the photo is an artist's conception of what never was.

No I don't think it will. AGS is very tolerant to extra FCS knowledge. That I am confident in. :)xthumbsupx

The second picture of the Southern Utah stadium is actually Coughlin-Alumni Stadium in Brookings.

Furman's field is Gene Stone Field...not Manly Field. Also, on Wofford's stadium database page, one of the pictures is of Snyder Field (Soccer stadium) instead of Gibbs Stadium.

If anyone has any other critiques or would like to send some pics of some stadiums/blogs/other networking for schools please do so. We would like this to be an evolving site.

One would think there is now absolutely NO REASON for anyone to put Wa-Griz pics up on AGS.

I remember going to a game at GU probably 4 years ago now and hearing the announcer mention at every time out that "next year GU football will be played at the new Multi-Sport Facility."

For UNH's Cowell Stadium, the official capacity is 6,500 and it has Field Turf. Not sure where they got that 9,571 figure as it's been 6,500 for years now.

Good idea. Should be easy to put together from the NCAA history website. I'll see what I can do.

History is going up soon with brackets for each year.xthumbsupx

Also in the process of compiling stats for each team (e.g. appearances in each round, overall records, etc...)

Attendance Record: 25,326 vs. Central Washington (September 27, 2008)

This record was broken against Montana State with a crowd of 25,629

And I'm not sure if we have FieldTurf anymore. Maybe another Griz fan on here knows

That is a very good compilation.

But seriously, give me a break guy. You compiled information from a source that was available to everyone else. You can't really say anyone stole anything from you. xpeacex

CSN worked exclusively with the NCAA on information that is not available anywhere else. Our reporting was the first and the most comprehensive: Sorry. Don't know why you are so adversarial.

Southern University's stadium, AW MUMFORD will now seat 29,000 with the new additions. You also can go to HUMANJUKEBOX.COM to find pics of SU's band. Thats JSU's band in the pic.

Thanks to the large amounts of ODU fans joining the site. Really contributing a lot to show their team support. Unbelievable, really, what they have gotten their fans to do. Camp out for season tickets..... AWESOME.
