The Southern Conference announced Wednesday its 2009 football television schedule which includes 21 live broadcasts.
Highlighting the schedule is the SoCon’s eight-game SoCon Saturdays package on SportSouth which includes eight football games and features all nine conference schools. Former Super Bowl participant and coach Sam Wyche joins play-by-play announcer Tom Werme in the SportSouth booth for their third season together on the SoCon Saturdays package, which kicks off on Sept. 19 as Georgia Southern hosts Western Carolina at 7 p.m.
