Cal Poly football team opens camp with starting positions up for grab
Dominique Johnson has only been in San Luis Obispo for a couple of weeks.
Come today — the start of Cal Poly football training camp — the UCLA transfer will already be the center of attention.
Storylines abound at camp: A new coaching staff, a new defense and no fewer than six new starters to replace on offense.
The arrival of Johnson perhaps trumps all the other angles, simply because of what he represents — a potential replacement for Ramses Barden at receiver.
