Vikes Upstage Oregon and Oregon State

I'm in Portland on a business trip and see the opening of PSU camp was the top story in yesterday's Oregonian sports pages. Equivalent stories on Oregon and Oregon State were banished to page 6. I know it was the Tuesday edition and it ordinarily doesn't work that way here but still, nice exposure for Portland State.

I think The Oregonian ran a big thing about the Ducks the other day - the Beavs too. Nevertheless, my FCS fandom takes precedence over my UO fandom when in Portland - always good to see the Viks get exposure.

Ducks big preview was Friday, followed with smaller stories of the players and coaches Saturday through Wednesday. Beavs big preview was Sunday, followed by smaller stories of various players Monday through Wednesday. Vikings big preview was Monday, followed by a story about Glanville on Tuesday. Nothing today. Hey, at least we got some coverage.xwhistlex
