GREELEY, Colo. -- The University of Northern Colorado fired football coach O. Kay Dalton Friday after six seasons.
Dalton finished with a 38-31 overall record at UNC, including a 4-7 record -- 0-5 in the Great West Conference -- this season.
"After considerable thought and reflection I decided that the timing is right to make a change in the coaching staff and move in a different direction," UNC's athletic director Jay Hinrichs said.
