Cowboys ranked as high as No. 13 in national pre-season poll
McNeese State’s Cowboys have been ranked among the top 20 teams in the nation in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) in four of five pre-season polls that are currently out.
The Cowboys, who tied for second in last year’s Southland Conference title chase and prior to that had won two straight league titles, ranked the highest in the FCS Now poll with a No. 13 ranking.
