I know we did this last year, where we looked at plays from different states on each team. I know Bryant has added about 3(2 new england states) more states this year and was wondering how other teams have changed.

Going into the spring Bryant has 120 players from 17 states, 1 territory and 1 other country.

Bryant:

Massachusetts: 41 players
New Jersey: 16 players
New York: 14 players
Rhode Island: 13 players
Connecticut: 12 players
Vermont: 5 players
Florida: 3 players
Maryland: 3 players
Colorado: 2 players
Pennsylvania: 2 players
Illinois: 1 player
Maine: 1 player
Minnesota: 1 player
Nevada: 1 player
New Hampshire: 1 player
Ohio: 1 player
Puerto Rico: 1 player
Quebec, Canada: 1 player
Virginia: 1 player

Outside of Texas..where the rest of our roster comes from based on last year's roster and the list of this year's signees...

4 Oklahoma
1 California
1 Arizona
1 Alabama
2 Kansas
1 Florida

A few years ago, you would have had no one from outside of Texas. Funny enough, in the Oil Bowl between Oklahoma All-Stars and Texas All-Stars - SHSU had more reps on the Oklahoma side!

We've recruited Florida quite heavily for several years now. We have some alums in coaching positions down there, plus other contacts. I'm guessing also that a lot of the guys on the team were recruited in the wake of us beating FAU back in 2003. Now if we could just get a road playoff game in Texas.... :D

UCA has:

27-Arkansas
15- Texas
10- Miss.
13- Louisiana
6-Oklahoma
4- Tennessee
2- Alabama
2- Florida
1- N.M.
1-Arizona

I wonder if recruiting costs had much to do with radius of recruiting? xnodxxlolx
