A transfer for the Beach Chickens, a guy not too far away, wanting to return "home"...
Reserve tight end David Duran has decided to leave the Michigan State program GoSpartans.net has learned.
Duran, a redshirt freshman from Marietta, GA was ranked the #71 tight end by Scout.com coming out of high school. He played in four games for the Spartans in 2008 and caught just one pass for four yards.
He also played defensive end in high school but has elected to transfer back to Coastal Carolina in Myrtle Beach which will bring him much closer to home according to the Myrtle Beach Sun.
