More than 20 years later, debate continues at Wichita State

Football was eliminated at Wichita State following the 1986 season and there has been a void on campus and in the community ever since.

Or not.

Two faculty members who watched the program’s demise offer differing opinions on the subject.

Am I mistaken...? Or are their not a few schools that have brought football back to life? Lamar, which dropped just a few years after Wichita State is one of them.

Wish Wichita State would get back in the game. They'd be a great addition to the FCS landscape.

I think it'd be great to see them in the MVC for football as well.

The baseball teams draws well and the basketball team is good. I think they'd support a I-AA team if they did it.
