CAA fans, tell me about Mike McGlinchey

He arrives at NCCU to coach our defensive line. Was he any good at Towson?

Well there's one active TU poster (Andy7171) on this site, so he would be your best reference. But, for what it's worth, TU has perennially been at the bottom of the CAA and when they have been half-decent it was because of their QB, defense was never that strong a point.

McGlinchy is a great guy. A fellow former Tiger o-lineman, though I think he got moved to blocking TE his last two years. He's been the RB's coach since graduating in '98-'00 range, I think he's also done some special teams too. Can't say much about his coaching ability, and I would blame the lack of running game squarely on the OC shoulders than McGlinchy.

I think he'll be a good d-line coach.

Last year was Towson's 1st at 63 scholarships, we've had 3 bad season and 2 winning ones in the A-10/CAA. Is that perennial?
