Jacks Finalize Schedule
The NAU athletic department announced the 2009 schedule for the Lumberjack football team on Wednesday after making some 11th hour changes to the 11-game schedule.
Originally, the Jacks were scheduled to open the season on Sept. 3 with a home game against Division II Fort Lewis College (Colo.) and finish the season on Nov. 14 at Weber State. Now, NAU won’t open the season until a Sept. 12 road game versus Football Bowl Subdivision member Arizona and will end its season after playing 10 straight games on Nov. 21 at Eastern Washington.
