The above blog includes SHSU, SFA, TXST, Lamar, PV and TxSo -- though most of the response comes from SHSU related discussion.

I wouldn't say its dedicated to JMU or JMU football, but they break a lot of stories that never come out on the school's football website (www.jmusports.com (http://www.jmusports.com)). They also cover Eastern Mennonite University, and Bridgewater College, two other colleges located in the DNR coverage area.

But then down in Richmond... the Richmond Times Dispatch hardly ever makes mention of JMU. They may print their scores on Sunday morning, that's about it.

..and that one columnist is a douche bag of the highest order!

The Baltimore Sun sports section has it broken down by sport, College Basketball, College Football, College Lacrosse. Too many colleges within the delivery area to focus on just one.

How big of a circulation do some of these places with dedicated FCS sections have?

Actually, Steve Marcus is just a glorified blogger. He's an embarrassment to the journalism profession.

Projo has a URI/Brown/PC sections and Bryant goes in the other local sports, but I would say PC gets about 6 articles a week, URI 4-5, Brown/Bryant and 3-5 depending on what is going on. Bryant's disappear faster, because they go under local sports section and a bunch of DII and DIII type stories.
