A star player at one of Texas’ top high schools... was a first team All-State player on defense... named first team 5-5A All-District... made 113 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, four sacks and an interception... played for a high school rated number one most of the year by USA Today... won four straight district championships and state championships in 2005 and 2007... finished his career 53-4 as a starter on the varsity... participated in the Offense/Defense All-American game... as a junior made 126 tackles with three interceptions, earning honorable mention All-State... a four-year starter who played safety as a freshman and sophomore and linebacker as a junior and senior... one of only two players to start as a freshman in the history of Euless Trinity High School.
