Oh, it hurts. Montana may have suffered, it seems to me, from a bit too much media hype. Perhaps the team got to thinking, subconsciously, they were destined to win. It was the test we needed and wanted. Decided on the field. Too bad for us we lost, but great job by the Spiders.
Richmond came to play. They were on a roll the first half. Gotta give them their due. I still like Mike London. Class guy! The Spiders got the job done. Gotta admire Sidbury. That dude was awesome last night. Where was he in the All American team voting?
It was a good, clean game. The few late hits called were marginal, I thought. Tough to win four playoff games in a row. UR did it in great style. Little bit of razzle-dazzle last night, but mostly just basic smash mouth football. Wouldn't want it any other way.
