Nothing would surprise me (of the choices, anyway), but I think Montana is feeling their oats after the JMU win and will ride it to a big win. Especially if they can come out fast and make some big plays.

But Richmond is obviously an incredibly good football team. I wouldn't be surprised to see them win.

I think Spiders by less than a TD.

Montana is still PO'ed at being told they don't belong and are the underdogs.

Of course everyone on here knows better. I view the Montana underdog situation a lot like the Weber situation. Ever since last season, Montana fans have been saying, "Weber is going to be really good this year." Nobody believed it until they saw it. Montana is still being labeled as an underdog by many writers.

I have jinxed everyone I picked during the playoffs, so I picked Richmond big in hopes of a Western Champion. Hopefully it's a close game that AGS talks about for months. xpeacex

Like I said, not on this board. We have all beat it to crap, which is what this board is for.

I just read an article today that said Montana was the underdog because Richmond had a better conference and a tougher route through the playoffs.

This was a Chatty paper.

They're not the underdog. They are seeded, Richmond is not.

Which paper? That's not in the Free Press.

Griz favored by 1.5. O/U 41.

I think I'll take both those bets.

24-20 Griz.

I think Richmond's dominant Running Game, Staunch Defense and Heroic Quarterback are too much for the powerful Griz. 21-17 Spiders

This has the potential to be a great game. However, I'm concerned that two emotional road wins in two weeks leaves Richmond drained and they get blown out like Delaware did last year.

Pulling for my CAA brethren but feel The Griz will win by 7

This isn’t to say they’ll win Friday night against Richmond. Despite having a better record this season (14-1 to 11-3), despite a much richer history, Montana will almost certainly be the underdog against the Spiders, who appear to have more speed and have endured an arguably tougher bracket by going on the road to knock off three-time defending champ Appalachian State and Northern Iowa.

Hmm. Thanks. Overall a pretty favorable write-up on the Grizzlies. He's wrong about the experts though........still Griz -1.5. And no mention of Richmond being in a stronger conference.

Well the Griz have had two emotional wins the last two weeks as well, avenging their only loss of the season versus Weber St., and then heading to Harrisonburg to defeat the #1 seed JMU Dukes. This is back to back East Coast trips for Montana. I think both teams are a little tired, but extremely excited to be playing in the National Championship Game.

This is a tough one to call I think. I see it going 3 ways, either Montana wins big(14+) or Richmond wins Big(14+) or Montana wins a close one(1-3). my heart says the Griz win a close one. xreadx xsmiley_wix My reasoning? I don't have any anymore, I just want Friday to friggin get here! :D

Don't be so concerned. We came out of the App game more healthy than we went into it.

As I opinionated on a previous thread...Griz 38 Richmond 24. We all want our team to win, and we all have our thoughts and opinions. If Griz block like they have been, I just don't see Richmond slowing them down at all.

The Defense is suspect but gang tackles and strips the ball well...hopefully a few turnovers on D or special teams again this week helps...

Good Luck and GO Griz

So, 3 voters got it right. Math challenge: What is the margin of error in this poll? :)
