That's too bad. What a great day we had last year, huh? I don't think it could have been any nicer. Short sleeves all day, just a little chilly that night. Clear as a bell. Hopefully they're wrong on the showers.

2006 was warmer than 2007. I wore shorts to the game that year, and was comfortable throughout.

That's not to say 2007 wasn't very comfortable. 2006 was just an anomaly (especially after the frigidness of 2005).

Back to the subject though, I don't think this will play that big of a factor for both teams. They both run more pro-style offense and UTC has made the upgrade to Field-Turf. Maybe a little negative for UM, as their QB throws very hard, which coupled with a wet ball, could lead to a few more drops.

Heck of alot warmer than it was in 2005. Not that it was terrible, but after spending all day outside tailgating, and then all evening at the game and such, it did get a bit chilly.

Regardless...it's going to beat -10 degrees everyday that the Griz have been facing. xwhistlex xwhistlex xwhistlex

I'm more concerned how I hate watching football in the rain. I'm confident the Griz can handle the weather.....me on the otherhand....not as much "heart." LOL

Perhaps. But Chattanooga is really not a good place to have a neutral site championship game in December. If they're going to have a neutral site championship game, they really should have it either at a place that has an indoor facility or someplace farther south. An indoor facility would be optimum so that weather is never a factor. Just make sure it's field turf and not the old style astroturf. It'd be good to get rid of the requirement that the city have an FCS program too to widen the options.

As stated above, it is going to be so nice to come from MT and down to 50+ degree weather. It's like frickin' Hawai'i!!!!

Yeah I was wearing a winter coat and froze my butt off in 2005. If it is 65 I would definitely take that over the 25 we got in 2005, even with the rain. And I would love to be down there for that weather coming from lots of snow today and a high temp of 8.
