View Full Version : Do FBS conferences influence FCS?

With all the usual crap flying around about who has the toughest conference, I have to ask, how much do you think an FBS conference influences FCS.

For example, since the Pac 10 was down this year, did it drag the Big Sky down with it, as far as polls and rankings?

I don't see how it could unless there were a lot of games between the two conferences. Otherwise, that would be like saying Ivy League play is affected by Big East play.

How about the WAC and MWC? Those conferences, even when they are up don't carry the weight a good game against an SEC team would.
