With #1 Tuskegee going down...

Who moves up?

#2 South Carolina State?
#3 Grambling?
#4 Prairie View A&M?

Could PV win the HBCU "national title" without playing another game? SCST is up against the wall and will probably take a hit. Grambling plays Southern. Win there and what if they lose in the SWAC title game? Or what if Grambling loses the Bayou Classic and PV does not go to the SCG?

Southern is #6...could they move all the way to the top with wins over #3 Grambling and #8 Jackson State?

Honestly....the HBCU national title? Does that really exist? xconfusedx xconfusedx Sounds like a made-up bowl title or something....

Yes -- a "Black College Football National Championship" exists. It is mythical like the FBS since it's not won on the field -- but there are bonuses and all sorts of other incentives for coaches and players.

If SC State wins against App St -- they need to be handed the BCF national title post-game. If Grambling wins their final two, it just won't measure the same IMO.

The timeouts and the additional score by Appy may have cost South Carolina State the HBCU national title.

Grambling has the inside track. Now, if they lose to Jackson State (which is possible) in the SWAC championship game...it opens up a world of possibilities including SCST backing into the title.

SCSU will win the ASW Black National title and Skegee will likely win Mid-Major black national title...
