Can't lose the last 7 of 8 to Harvard, and be non-competitive in the last 2.

Dave Clawson would be a great choice for Yale. If I'm the Yale AD I'm calling him today.

Yes, Clawson would be an excellent choice. Question would be whether he wants to go in that direction, i.e. back 'down' to FCS as an HC or a lateral move to another FBS school. With his experience in dealing with real student athletes in the Patriot League and CAA, he would certain understand the type of player he needs to recruit at Yale.
