Nall, now a Texan (again)...

Quarterback Craig Nall, who spent three weeks with the Texans last season, has been signed to back up Sage Rosenfels.

Nall, 29, was one of three veteran quarterbacks who worked out for the Texans on Tuesday. They signed him over Tim Rattay and Bruce Gradkowski.

Nall was the biggest obstacle to the Griz in the 2001 title run, giving NW State a halftime lead on the Griz. I was impressed by his skills.

They weren't able to hold the lead, but it was the closest the Griz came to being derailed that year in the playoffs.
