Pretty soon we are going to have to start believing in something special happening beyond our control or understanding as James Madison pulls off another last second miracle, this one via the “Hail Mary” pass. For more details on this game, please see my article earlier this week Team of Destiny?
While this was the only game that matched up two elite teams, there were a couple of minor surprises. William & Mary struggled at home against Rhode Island and Delaware went on the road and shut out Hofstra without a quarterback. The other games went pretty much as expected, including a couple of real blow outs against non-conference teams. So, I decided to spend some more time this week looking at the national scene as the talk out there more and more seems to revolve around the playoffs.
