SIU TD. 29 yds. Dieker to Cheatam. SIU up 17-7. Apparently SIU decided to get their 3rd qtr collapse out of the way early this game.

Winning when you are having a bad game (5 turnovers and 10 penalties) shows a lot of heart. The Dawgs never quit. This could be a turning point for the Salukis to trigger a run down the stretch.

Sounds like the Bison better not be overconfident against these guys not that we can afford to be! xnonono2x

Bears had their shots - you can't force 5 turnovers and get 0 points out of it and try to beat a good team. SIU looked very undiscplined, they made a ton of mental errors like stupid late hits or offsides that kept the Bears in the game. I think the Bears grew up quite a bit today, we are close to being real good but not quite there.

I doubt it. The Bears are improving year to year. It takes time to rebuild a program.

No our roster is around 75% sophomores and freshman. He is safe for another couple of years at least.

They have come a long way since the first of the season. TA is an excellent coach. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Heck, last season we lost to SIU 45-10

If our O came to play AT ALL in the first half, we could have won by 2 TDs.

5 FREAKING Turnovers without a single point? Pathetic!!!!

Not to mention a Free Safety that just stops covering his man on the final play to let him in untouched.

This could only happen to MSU.

Sometimes I HATE wearing Maroon and White.

You took a ranked team down to the wire. You've came a long way since losing to a D2 early in the year. Hold your head up.
Three of those turnovers were in the red zone. It's hard to convert those into scores.

TA is a good guy. I have no sense of how the admin / fans are down @ MO ST. Just wondering.

Not the first time this year we've been our own worst enemy; attributable, imo, to having only four seniors among our first 22. The upside is that we appear to be getting the hang of the new system.

Shouldn't have been. Worst playing calling Ive seen all year. Down right unbelievable xnonono2xIt was PATHETIC play calling, the whole game. Up in the press box I think we figured out of our 8 or 9 3 and outs, we ran a draw play to the right 1.5 times per 3 and out. How creative is that when the SIU Defense was unbeatable against the run?
