C'mon, Bulldogs! Knock the Princeton Pretenders out of the Ivy catbird seat on Saturday! I just know you've got one upset in you this year!

I have to say that the Tigers looked impressive in whipping Penn last week. McCareins is the real deal.

Princeton has gotten better each week. Not many people picked them to beat Penn in Philadelphia last Saturday, and I'll admit I was one of them who didn't give the Tigers much of a chance. I think Yale is going to have their hands full this Saturday at Palmer...er...Princeton Stadium.

Yeah wow. That really surprised all of us when Princeton beat Penn so soundly last weekend. I know that I for one made big noise about exactly the opposite happening. I don't know what to think about Princeton anymore.
Thank god for Ivy football where u look like a fool for predicting anything.

You're right, Your Worship! Princeton has sucked for so long that it's hard to understand their success.

Almost every game Princeton has played this year, except Columbia and, I guess Penn could have gone either way. Even the Penn game was close until the 4th quarter. So Princeton knows how to win the close ones. Yale, on the other hand, has lost close games to USD, Lehigh, and Holy Cross. Yale does NOT know how to win close games. Logically, Princeton in a close one. As a partisan, Yale by 10.

I'll watch some of it if I'm home. It sure beats, IMO, the Big Ten crapola that ESPN is indubitably showing in our region.

I'll be at TK's in downtown New Haven watching the game along with other Bulldog fans!

Hope the game is as exciting as the last one at Princeton two years ago! Same result too! ;)

Yale went 3 and out (as usual) on their opening drive. Princeton drove to the Yale 20, but missed the FG. No score.

Cornell 21 Columbia 0 still in the 1st
Dartmouth 7 Brown 7 8:00 left in the 2nd
Harvard 26 Penn 3 late 2nd

wonder when the last time was that Penn lost 3 straight Ivy games

Yale 0 Princeton 14 in the 2nd

On Princeton's TD no one was within 15 yards of the man in the endzone on a 3rd down pass play.

Yale 0 Princeton 14 at the half.

It should have been worse. Princeton missed a short FG and turned the ball over inside the Yale 10.

Cornell 31 Columbia 7 halftime
Brown 10 Dartmouth 7 8:30 left in the 3rd
Harvard 26 Penn 3 9:00 left in the 3rd

Talk about a tale of two halves. Princeton dominated the first half (they really should have been up by 3 TD going into halftime) and Yale made the big plays in the second half. Way too many turnovers did the Tigers in. Princeton fans must be stunned with this loss.

Got to give major props to the Yale defense coming up with some big plays and keeping Princeton to only 14 points. If it wasn't for them, the Tigers would've beaten Yale in a rout.

Now, if only Dartmouth came up with the biggest upset of the year today, we'd be looking at another four way tie for first place.....Brown, Princeton, Yale and Harvard all 4-2. Instead, the Bears own the top spot all to themselves and will clinch the outright title next week at cupcake Columbia.

BTW, there seemed like good size crowd at Princeton Stadium today. Anybody know what the attendance was?

Finally discovered they key to Yale winning. Find a team that turns the ball over 7 times. Priceton had 5 passes intercepted and lost 2 fumbles one of which was run back inside the 5 to set up the winning score with about a minute to go. The scary thing for Yale is that they got 7 turnovers and only won by 1 TD.

Princeton Stadium seats 27,800. The Princeton side looked full and the Yale side was pretty packed too. Just the corners and both end zones were sparse.
