Wonder exactly what happened in that Penn game. Did Princeton go from 14 to 16 points on a safety or a blocked XP run back.

LEt's hope it was a safety, I hate those extra point run backs :)

I have it set for Ivy scores but you can get all of them by changing to 1-AA scores. Of course, I'm listening to the Yale game online.

It WAS a blocked XP run back for 2 points. Big momentum killer there.

Now the announcers are saying that maybe it was not an onside kick but a Squib kick that was just kicked badly. I guess we will find out after the game.

looks over for Yale. The last gasp was a fake punt in their own territory that actually worked. They got down into the red zone but could not score. Brown is now just driving the ball down their throats and killing the clock.

38-21 Brown

Typical game for Yale this year. Not many 3 and out possessions but never the really big play when they needed it to stay in the game. Lots of drives where they would get two or three first downs and then on that final 3rd and 4 or 3rd and 7, nothing, then punt. On defense they could not stop the run at all. No surprise. Brown has Dartmouth and Columbia left. Piece of the title is guaranteed.

Play someone!

I've tried explaining this before but let me do it again. When Coastal first started its program, they signed a four year deal with Savannah State. No one thought Coastal would be at this level in three years so it seemed like a good idea at the time. After last year's season, Coastal tried to buy out the contract and add someone better but Savannah State wouldn't so we were forced to play them this year and will have to again next year. There's no way to get around it.

At 10-1 I think Coastal should probably make the playoffs, however a 25 point win over Savannah St (http://diaafootball.com/team000043.html)

is not a statement IMO :)

Your right, SSU controled the clock running 83 offensive plays to our 53. However we did score TDs on 3 of our first 8 plays. After that the team just seemed to relax. We should have scored 60 or more.

Still it is a lot better than going 3OT with them. Your last two games were definitely better than the games against G-Webb and Liberty. I would even say more impressive.
