HAMILTON, N.Y. -- Jordan Sorrells passed for 211 yards and three touchdowns to lead FCS 23rd-ranked Furman to a 42-21 victory over Patriot League member Colgate at Andy Kerr Stadium Saturday afternoon.
Sorrells, a junior from Greenville, completed 15-of-23 passes in the contest, and connected on touchdwn strikes of 1, 6, and 23 yards for the Paladins, who rolled up 515 yards in total offense in the contest.
Tailback Mike Brown rushed for a game and career high 130 yards and a touchdown, and Adam Mims contributed 191 all-purpose yards, including two rushes for 39 yards, three receptions for 60 yards, and 92 yards on three punt returns.
