Yotes to go for 2 and the win.

31 to 30 Lions.

Here we go.

Shepard fumbles at the goal line.

Lions recover in the end zone.

What an ending but SE wins the game.

Give the Yotes a lot of credit for going for the win.

Wow!

I'm heartbroken! Yotes were down 31 to 17 fairly late in the game and almost pulled it out.

Shepard may have recovered his own fumble in the end zone but is there a rule that that is illegal?

USD announcers were confused.

SDSU wins!!!!!! This was a huge MoValley win for a young program. I wouldn't be surprised to see WIU in the playoffs. Their offense can be explosive.

Well hind sight is always 20/20. Should the Yotes have kicked the extra point and gone into overtime?

Pretty crazy ending with the Coyotes getting a TD with no time left and then going for the win.

That would have been nice.

After Leathernecks opened up to passing, they became very effective.

AZ has it right, these Necks will be tough in the Valley.xthumbsupx xthumbsupx

SDSU Jacks move to 2-0 in Valley, and invade UNI next week.

Every bit as tough a win as anticipated.

Yotes win the total offense stat with 436 yards to 414 for the Lions.

The recovered on-side kick by SE La was the turning point and won the game for them.

A 1 point loss for the Coyotes but I proud of them for trying to get the win. They came real close as Noah Shepard fumbled right at the goal line.

You know it is the first year of transition and only the 2nd FCS game for SD.

Not a whole lot to lose really so they just went for it.

Almost 32 to 31 SD. That would have freaked out the SE La fans I would guess.

Great game!

same for bryant and when wins are going to be rare take the safe shot and try for the overtime.

I guess I can see the go for it and hope you win, but its tough to go against the overtime. Especially college overtime.

Yea, I would have liked SD's chances in an overtime as they had all of the momentum. They Yotes are proving themselves to be pretty competitive at this level so far though so a win will come.

Culver Stockton in the Dakota (Danger) Dome next week. I suppose that will be about 52 to 0 or so. So goes the schedule.

Not sure if this win is more good for Savannah St. chances on joining the MEAC or bad for the MEAC in general, WSSU just became a full conference member. xconfusedx
