What is it about this team??? They just refuse to show up to play on the road. I'm beginning to think that 4th quarter against NU was the abberation, and not the URI game.

Not at all. I thought the game would be close. However, listening to it, it seems like W&M is getting totally dominated, which is a surprise to me.

Don't count out the Tribe offense--14 is nothing.

These things can turn around in a second. UD dominated W&M for 3 quarters in the playoffs last year. Or did you forget?

The Tribe offense has been good for most of this season, but in the first half they really didn't move the football. Only 32 yards passing! Add in 63 yards rushing for Brooks and it's still under 100 yards of total offense. Here's hoping Jimmye made some good adjustments at halftime.

No, I most definitely do not forget. The following Friday night, on the other hand, I'm drawing a complete blank on ;)

Is there a chance the A-10 will only get 1 playoff team this year? This is assuming that Umass goes in the tank which i don't think is likely. I'm having a hard time comming up with 3 teams from the A-10. This could open the door for an 8-3 Colgate or Lafayette team, who beat Richmond, to sneak in. Someone from the east has to play at UNH and i can't see Lehigh being sent up there.

A-10 gets at least 2, UNH and either UMass and/or a A-10 South team (Richmond, or more likely W&M)

Sorry conference teams can't be matched up in the first round. Maybe you'll get lucky and they will send you to the Midwest like 2000. ;) ;)

I just don't want a first round Lehigh-UNH matchup. I don't think a 9-2 Lehigh team should be the one sent up there. To be honest, i think if Lehigh wins out they should have a good chance to host the second or 3rd team from the A-10 and then send YSU or someone up to Durham.

I don't think YSU is a lock. I look for 2 Gateway teams in the playoffs with it being either SIU, WKU or YSU with UNI as an outside shot. I think Lehigh's best 1st round matchup with this bunch is SIU. They will try to play smash mouth and I think Lehigh can defend that. They don't defend the pass all that well and I see that as a lehigh strength. I believe that Borda would have matched up well with most of the Midwest teams but that is now water under the bridge.

If YSU makes the playoffs, the will most likely be at home due to attendance.

Huge win for the Cats, buh-bye Tribe. I don't think their win over UNH in the mud is going to be enough to offset losses to URI and 'Nova.

Congrats to Nova on the upset.

Thanks. Looks like it was total domination. 540 yds total offense to just 213 for the Tribe. T.O.P. 36 mins to 24. First downs 28-15. Too bad for the Cats...too little, too late for this season, I'm afraid. :(

Richmond beat JMU who UMASS beat by 3 in overtime. Stacy Tutt is one of the best all around athletes in the A-10 and he touches the ball on every snap (unlike the games against UMASS and Lafayette). That and a good defense can go a long way.

Of course, you mean UMass beat JMU by three. Based upon the games remaining, I feel UR has a better shot than UMass. JMO.

GOOD FRIKKEN QUESTION!!!! The gasp that went up from our section as Jankowski dropped back to pass was probably heard on the other side of the stadium. :eek:
