The injuries to our top 2 RBs is catching up to us so far today but a lot of football to play still...Today's starting RB Rafael Rice is banged up also!!

Boy the Gateway is screwed up this year! :bang: I have decided the best way to predict a gateway winner is to flip a quarter. :bang: I would have thought that Ill. State would have owned WIU.

Where was this D the rest of the year?

IL ST could come back against this D, but this just adds to their inconsistentcy. Of all the games they should win, should have won, it would be this one.

I am in complete and utter shock. Don't get me wrong, WIU is normally tough, but they are DOWN this year. Where the HELL did this come from?!?!?! :confused:

ILS had NO running game, our #1 RB is out for the year, #2 was injured and did not play, #3 was banged up and couldnt continue, so we had to blow a redshirt today and went with a Freshman to finish. That being said, WIU kicked our ass today, our inability to run the ball made it easy for the WIU defense but they get all the credit, they pressured Drone all day and won the football game. COngrats!!!

Haven't seen the stats, but I would have thought IL ST would have been throwing all game against that pathetic secondary of the Necks. if they weren't I would say your coaching staff missing the boat then. All year long if you wanted to move the ball on the Necks, alls you had to do was throw.

Maybe it is for the best. Without a running game, the 'Birds would not havve went anywhere in the playoffs anyhow.
