Virginia Tech took the redshirt off Tyrod Taylor today after one week. Going to be a grade A test for Furman's new defense.

TT runs much better than he passes at this point. Tech has no running game so Furman should be able to concentrate on the QBs and with any luck, has a real chance to keep it close...for a half.

According to their press release, William and Mary just about ground their running game to a halt last year. This is the type quarterback Furman's defense has been retooled to stop.

Furman will have to play turnover free. VT, probably more so than any other team in the country, turns turnovers to points. Furman will have to force them to drive the length of the field and run the ball at their front four (where ECU had success).
