The band did take 250. I just decided I needed an off weekend with 3 home games coming up! Should be a good game, and I'm glad I'm not getting rained on right now.

Maybe Duke was PP in the past but things are looking way up in Durham. Cutcliffe is a great coach. He was Payton Manning's OC/QB coach IIRC. Duke is going to be much better with him at the helm and it's already showing. JMU shouldn't have been favored in this game though a better showing was a reasonable expectation.

Nope. Just got back from the game.

JMU looked awful (particularly in the 3rd quarter), but Duke looked good, too. Their defense actually looked pretty fast and shut our option down.

Their QB is okay, and their WR Riley is good. They will surprise some people this year (not a bowl game, I don't think, but maybe a couple of ACC wins).

I AM embarrassed for JMU, but not for the loss, for the way we played.
They played awful, Landers was not good, but I'm not sure we would've pulled it out if we had played great. Mickey also (surprise, surprise) made some weird calls.

Hope we got it all out of our system!

Northwestern and Navy are in the mix - can't remember the third. Some blue-sky best case senarios projected Dook could start 4-0 if everything went well for them.
