EKU vs U of Cincy

What's your take on tonight's game at Cincy? I think we have a task ahead of us. UC was no slouch last year and from what I read the Bearcats haven't lost much from last year (will Mauck win his telephone appeal today with the NCAA?).

For EKU:
1. Show up and play with everything you got
2. Question: Have the Colonels had enough time with a new head coach and his new offensive scheme?
3. Protect the QB (tall task with our young O line)
4. New TB's have to get some serious yardage
5. Defense should be our strong suit and we will need them to play error free. Need to get some of those turnovers we had last year!
6. Protect the QB!
7. Collect the check
8. BEAT western
9. WIN the OVC
10. GO EKU!

I'm all for your above list except for #9...Maybe TTU can do that this year. It will be much tougher than it would've been a few years ago, but EKU over Cincy isn't out of the question. But, it would have to be a near-perfect game for EKU.
I'll definitely pull for the Colonels tonight!

As much as I'd like to see EKU win, I don't think it's going to happen. Even without Mauck, UC should be one of the better teams in the Big East.
